The Farmersville Unified board approved several programmatic items intended to support career-technical education (CTE), agriculture programming and teacher development. Actions included acceptance of a Strengthening Career and Technical Education grant award for 2026—627, the MOU with the Tulare County Office of Education for CTE incentive grants, and approval of an agriculture incentive grant specific to district programs.
Board members also approved professional-development agreements to support curriculum and teacher preparation, including a Save the Children subaward (Agreement #999007701), California Teaching Fellows Foundation engagement for 2026—627, and a Raise the Bar professional-development contract. During discussion a board member asked whether the per-student amount cited in the CTE packet applied only to students enrolled in the CTE program; staff confirmed the funding is specific to students participating in CTE.
