Iris Queen, director of the Elkhart Senior Center, reported that the center received the 2025 Elder Care report noting an average cost per meal of $8. She told commissioners that Boaldin Electric will provide quotes for lighting repairs at county facilities and asked the county to cover remaining costs not covered by grants. Queen also said the center will take a van to a Dodge City expo on April 21 and requested permission to sell one of its pool tables, with proceeds to be placed in gifts and grants; commissioners instructed staff to advertise the sale.
