The Iron County Human Services Board voted Jan. 19 to wait until the spring election to fill a vacancy caused when member Mario Loreti moved out of county. Larry Youngs, County Board Chair, reported that "Mario Loreti now lives in Michigan so is no longer on this committee." The board did not appoint an interim replacement.
The board also decided Teresa Way, Child Support Administrator, will report to the committee once per quarter and will have a separate agenda and minutes for those presentations. The item was discussed during public comment and reflected a consensus to avoid an interim appointment before the scheduled election.
