'I Voted in Miami County' sticker winner named; early voting dates set

The clerk's office announced the winner of its inaugural student 'I Voted in Miami County' sticker contest and reminded voters of early voting dates (July 23 and July 28, plus an Aug. 1 Saturday window) and a temporary polling-location change for the August primary.
Laura Epp of the Miami County Clerk's Office presented the inaugural 'I Voted in Miami County' sticker contest, announced the winner and recognized participating students and teachers. She identified Caitlin Kirk of Paola High School as the contest winner and thanked the judges and classroom participants for their contributions.
"This year's winning design... will become the official 2026 I voted Miami County sticker," Epp said. She also announced early voting opportunities on July 23 and July 28 (evening hours to 6 p.m.) and an additional Saturday session on Aug. 1 from 8 a.m. to noon. Epp noted a polling-location change for the August 4 primary: some voters who normally report to Max Steel Gym will vote at Trojan Elementary School for that primary.
Epp said the clerk's office will distribute the stickers during the 2026 primary and general election and encouraged voters to view sample ballots online at voterview.com. She also said the office will train approximately 121 election workers for the upcoming election.
