Dan Blazewicz selected chair; Alan Levin named vice chair of Lakes and Watershed Commission
Summary
At the start of the meeting commissioners nominated and selected Dan Blazewicz as chair and Alan Levin as vice chair by acclamation. New appointees and returning commissioners were introduced during roll call.
Commissioners opened the meeting with officer elections. Supervisor Mike Engelberger nominated Dan Blazewicz for chair and the nomination was seconded and accepted; Alan Levin was elected vice chair by acclamation. Following the selections, Blazewicz thanked members and moved the meeting to the next agenda items.
The roll call earlier in the meeting gave new appointees an opportunity to introduce themselves and their backgrounds; several members noted their committees, local districts and affiliations to help orient the newly seated commissioners.
