Police jury accepts Hunter’s Crossing Unit No. 1 streets, utilities and lift station site into parish systems

Developer Travis Beaty presented Hunter’s Crossing Unit No. 1 and Assistant Parish Engineer Matt Redmon reported the subdivision’s asphalt streets, concrete curb and gutter, subsurface drainage, water and sewer mains and lift stations passed inspection. The jury accepted the streets and drainage (Houndstooth Boulevard – 0.08 miles; Coyote Run – 0.24 miles) into the parish maintenance system and accepted water and sewer facilities into Consolidated Waterworks/Sewerage District No. 1.
The jury adopted Ordinance No. 5105 accepting the streets and the two-year maintenance bond and Ordinance No. 5106 accepting the sewer extension and related improvements; a donation deed for Lot 1003 for a sewer lift station was accepted for permanent maintenance. Votes recorded show one abstention by Lynn Beaty on acceptance motions related to the subdivision’s maintenance acceptance and utility actions.
