Police Jury reappoints members to hospital and library boards

The St. Helena Parish Police Jury unanimously reappointed three members to the St. Helena Parish Hospital Board of Commissioners: Mrs. Daisy Calihan to a six-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2025, and Mrs. Iola Martin and Mr. Harrison Gill to six-year terms beginning Apr. 1, 2025. The motion to reappoint was moved by Warren McCray Jr. and seconded by Doug Watson.
The jury also unanimously reappointed Major Coleman to a five-year term on the Audubon Regional Library Board beginning Jan. 1, 2025. The minutes record these as routine reappointments with unanimous approval and do not record individual statements from the appointees.
