Resident urges No-Through-Trucks designation on Rocky Mount Road over safety concerns

Hudson noted that if the posted limit is 20 mph the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office may issue citations for speed violations; Nelson replied that a deputy was posted after complaints but monitoring was not consistent. Jurors also suggested the police jury’s Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit and continued citizen reports to the sheriff’s office as options for enforcement. No formal action was taken; Hudson will review the road and follow up with the resident.
