On motion by Mr. Author Robinson, the Jury approved awards for 2025 road materials and supplies: emulsions to Ergon Asphalt & Emulsions; grader blades to Scott Equipment; gravel and stone to Luhr Bros.; fuel and oil to Lott Oil; metal culverts to Wilson Culverts, Inc.; plastic culverts to Co-Heir Drainage Products, LLC; retread tires to Southern Tire Mart, LLC; tires & tubes to Despino’s Tire; and base material/pit run to Industrial Concrete Products. The Bid Committee reviewed sealed bids and recommended the awards to the full Jury.
The Jury also awarded the Thomas Mill Road area Wastewater System Expansion contract to Ashton Construction, LLC for $175,542.80 on a motion by Mr. Author Robinson; the motion carried (minutes record the vote as 6 yeas, 0 nays, 0 absent, 1 abstained).
