County Manager (speaker 3) said staff received roughly $30,000 from 3 Rivers Regional Commission or the Council on Aging toward Active Life Center needs and proposed several capital projects. "We received approximately $30,000 from them," he said while reviewing funding for equipment and facility improvements. The board approved a conventional oven purchase, a $11,000 painting contract, and an epoxy-floor installation for the LaGrange Active Life Center.
Staff also recommended replacing the roof at the Hugginsville Active Life Center with a $242,810 CIP-funded project; the board approved that project as well. Commissioners noted the money would come from the county's capital fund and approved the requests by voice vote; staff will track funding and report back as projects move into procurement and implementation.
