Vian board re-employs district administrators and directors, hires middle-school principal and teacher, and accepts two resignations
Summary

The board voted to re-employ the listed administrative staff for the 2025–26 school year: Assistant Elementary Principal Jennifer Ecker; Elementary Principal Kathy Wingo; and High School Principal Carrie Jo Willis. The board also re-employed central office staff Erica King (Treasurer/Payroll Coordinator), Shannon Pack (Encumbrance Clerk/Federal Claims/Indian Education), and Christie Mendenhall (Activity Account Custodian/Secretary). District directors re-employed included Kristy Keck (Child Nutrition Director), James Ross (Maintenance Director), Abby Glass (Transportation Director), Leslie Bridges (Curriculum Director/JOM) and Jedidiah Kasson (IT Director).
The board voted to employ Kyle Sumpter as Middle School Principal for the 2025–26 school year and to employ Alyssa Goad as an elementary teacher for the 2025–26 school year. Motions and recorded votes for these personnel actions were entered in the minutes and recorded as unanimous.
The board also accepted resignations from LeeAnn Parks (elementary teacher) and Kathy Moore (MS ELA), both effective June 30, 2025. The minutes record motions, seconds and unanimous votes for the acceptances of these resignations.
