The St. James Parish Planning Commission on Feb. 23 approved two simplified resubdivision requests conditioned on health department sign-off and submission of CAD files. CEJ Real Estate, LLC sought to subdivide the Society of the Friends of Faith Lot into Lot 1-A and Lot 2-A (Item 26-04). Cody Zeringue sought to divide the Rose McGowan Simon Tract, splitting Lot 2-B into Lot 2-B1 (Item 26-06).
Both motions were approved by roll call with all present commissioners voting yes and two members recorded absent. CEJ’s application was represented by Craig James; Cody Zeringue’s application was represented by Scott Bourgeois. The commission acknowledged the submitted sketches as meeting technical requirements pending formal submission and administrative conditions.
The approvals were recorded as simplified subdivision actions; both items remain subject to any required health department approvals and final delivery of CAD files before full recordation.
