Board to review eminent domain procedure after stalled Nedrose #2 easement negotiations

With no owner response on sewer easements for Nedrose #2, the Board voted to have Attorney Van Grinsven prepare a summary of eminent domain procedures for the next meeting.
Engineer Dennis Reep reported there has been no further owner response regarding sewer easements needed for the Nedrose #2 project. Roger Kluck moved to have Attorney Bryan Van Grinsven prepare a summary of the eminent domain procedure for the next Board meeting; Dohms seconded and the motion passed 4-0.
The minutes record the Board’s direction to review legal options; no eminent domain filing or other enforcement action was taken at the Feb. 9 meeting and the attorney was asked to present procedural summary and next steps at a future meeting.
