Commission authorizes animal shelter RFP, approves $4,987.50 settlement payment

The motion to pay was moved by Commissioner Olson and seconded by Commissioner Schuler; the roll call in the minutes shows Commissioners Rostad, Merritt, Olson and Chairman Fjeldahl voted yes while Commissioner Schuler voted no, and the motion passed (4–1).
The RFP authorization and settlement payment were recorded in the minutes with the motions and roll call votes; the RFP advertisement will be handled as directed by the sheriff's office and county procurement procedures.
