Patrick County planners discuss solar ordinance changes after review of House Bill 711; public commenters oppose facilities

During public comment, Trena Anderson (Peters Creek District) stated opposition to solar facilities, and Jimi Agee (Blue Ridge District) raised concerns about internet communications and solar facilities. The commission did not take a final vote on ordinance changes at the Jan. 20 meeting but directed that redlines and clarifying questions be prepared for the Board of Supervisors.
