The Tripp City Council approved several residential building permits on May 18, allowing Troy Mcdaugle to build a privacy fence and extend a deck, Josh Mcdermott to pour concrete in front of steps leading to a sidewalk, and Mike and Teresa Biggie to construct a garage. Each permit motion was moved and seconded and recorded as carried.
Separately, the council placed on first reading a permit to allow The Dugout to sell alcohol on the sidewalk in front of its building from July 2–6. The first-reading motion carried; further procedural steps will be required before the permit is final.
