The board voted to go into a closed executive session under the Open Public Meetings Act citing the personnel and legal exceptions of NJSA 10:4-12(b). The chair read the resolution, which identified an HIV appeal, a personnel matter and a construction claim as the reasons for the closed session and anticipated the session to last about 75 minutes.
"Be it further resolved that said discussion may be disclosed to the public when reasons for discussing and acting upon it in closed session no longer exists," the resolution stated. The board took the vote to enter executive session and indicated that action may be taken in public after the closed session ends.
