Commission sets outside-entity presentation date, addresses trustee vacancy and small card balance

County Clerk Chasity Foreaker told the commission that outside entities will present 2027 funding requests on March 24, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., with disbursements split between March and July. The commission set an application deadline of March 13, 2026 for the open Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center (NMRMC) board trustee position. The 2025 county inventory was presented and Chair Klaassen asked that the Health Department provide the last three years of grant paperwork at the next meeting.
The commission also authorized payment of a remaining balance of $49.75 on a former County Attorney's VISA account to be paid from the County Attorney budget and directed the card be canceled; Commissioner Klaassen moved and Commissioner Westhoff seconded, and the motion passed 3-0.
