The board approved a packaged motion from the Personnel Policy & Communications Committee that included first readings of policy/regulation items, retirements, resignations, new employment and several salary and assignment adjustments.
"The personnel policy and communications committee did meet this evening," said Miss Crosby, who moved the slate and listed the items for board action. The motion included first reading of policy 5516 (student use of internet-enabled devices), regulation 5600-related items, a comprehensive equity plan, retirement and resignation listings, new employment and substitute rate updates, and several other personnel and policy matters as presented.
Board members conducted a roll-call vote after a second; Mr. Gargiulo recorded that he voted yes on everything "except the policy 6 that's an abstain." The board chair then closed the vote and the items were approved as presented.
The committee chair noted the items were reviewed in committee and listed as "as shown" in the motion packet; the board did not expand discussion on individual hires or retirements during the public session. Any specific personnel names and contract details are recorded in the official packet and personnel addenda filed with the district.
