County Treasurer Gabby Sands presented four proposals for the county's ½ cent Road Sales Tax account and recommended the Bank of Commerce because it offered the highest earned interest. Commissioner Nicholas Galemore moved to accept the Bank of Commerce bid; Commissioner Gail Klaassen seconded and the motion passed 3-0.
The commission also voted to grant Treasurer Sands online viewing access to the Road Sales Tax account at the Bank of Commerce, a separate motion that passed 3-0. The minutes record both decisions as passed without dissent.
