The Monroe County Board approved the accounts payable current claims report for June 3, 2026 totaling $1,357,151.05 and adopted the consent agenda containing two check registers (05/22/2026 for $474,093.45 and 05/29/2026 for $2,873,095.88).
Finance staff member Sue summarized vendor highlights, including CDW Government Inc. for annual Zoom licensing, Hillebrand and Sons Construction for ARPA-funded Erie Township sewer expansion, Salamander Technologies for annual EMD software subscriptions, and the county’s portion of an inter-county drain debt paid through the drain commission.
The board also accepted a Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards award of $19,653.03 and a FY2026 marine safety grant of $20,800, both with no local match required. The board approved Henry Warner’s appointment to the Monroe County Community Mental Health Authority with a term beginning June 2, 2026, and approved county planner recommendations for updates to the Ashe Township master plan.
