District leaders told trustees the district will transition to the Infinite Campus student information system and that the change will affect attendance tracking, parent communication and other operational tools. "It's a whole new student information system. It might not seem like a a big deal, but it impacts every single corner of our organization," Dr. Seggert said.
Staff noted immediate advantages including built‑in translation into multiple languages and additional family engagement tools compared with the district's previous Skyward system. They cautioned the rollout will be a multi‑month project requiring staff time and training: staff said the system "is going to be better" but acknowledged it will be a work in progress throughout the coming year and will be emphasized during professional development days.
Trustees and staff agreed to keep the community informed and to prioritize training for parents and school staff during the migration to minimize disruption early in the school year.
