Hanover Connect reports 1,222 homes connected and speed upgrades for customers

Deputy County Administrator Todd Kilduff told the board construction has been underway about 16 months and that total connected homes grew from approximately 1,136 to 1,222 in the last month, an increase of about 90 connections.
Kilduff also said AllPoints Broadband will upgrade existing customers’ service tiers at no cost (e.g., 50/50 customers to 300/300, 100/100 customers to 500/500). He said the project’s next major technical hurdle is completing work on railroad crossings and private‑road easements and that several provider contracts remain in negotiation at the state DHCD level before broader construction proceeds.
