Board adopts travel and meal policies, credit-card policy and approves PTO donation and logo use agreement
Summary

Human Resources and Emergency Management presented multiple administrative items. Rebecca Squires summarized amendments to travel and meal reimbursement policies (clarifying local travel area, lodging/meal eligibility, tax-exempt travel rules, limits on informal local meeting meal reimbursement, and an increase to allowable tip percentage); the board adopted the updated policies by motion.
Squires also presented a Jefferson County Credit Card Policy prepared by the Treasurer; the board approved incorporation of that policy into county SOPs. Separately, the board approved a PTO donation of 20 hours to employee #1045 (employee #609 and #493 donating 10 hours each). The board also approved a logo use agreement allowing Jefferson County to use the America 250 Idaho Ambassadors image for county communications and events.
A separate set of personnel-record restructuring proposals was presented and requested for further review; the board did not adopt those personnel-record changes at this time.
