Commissioners approve five‑lot Jennings Acres short plat, require irrigation easements on the plat

Planning & Zoning presented a short‑plat application for "Jennings Acres," a proposed five‑lot subdivision off N 4300 E in the R‑5 zone. Planner Milton Ollerton and applicant Jenna Huennekens told the board the lots would be five acres each minimum and that water shares from the Rigby Canal (55.7 shares) are available for the project.
Ollerton said the utility easement was intended to be the irrigation easement; "the utility easement was meant to be the irrigation easement," he noted on the record. The board approved the short plat pending the applicants place the irrigation easements on the recorded plat and authorized Chairman Hancock to sign the final documents.
The approval requires the applicant to update the plat to show how irrigation will be served before the county signs and records the final short plat.
