Members consider a targeted parcel review to resolve historic-district mapping and GIS inconsistencies

The group discussed a more focused, quicker review than the prior year-long process and proposed printouts for each district so commissioners could evaluate whether parcels still retain historic character. "We could have a printout of each of the districts on a separate page" the chair suggested, to make review and discussion more manageable.
Members suggested picking a first round of districts near a bridge or another obvious boundary as a pilot for the process. They also noted training needs for members and that some historic research would not be required for the first, condition-focused round. No formal motion was recorded; the commission directed staff to prepare district printouts and a proposed review schedule.
