EDA elects Mr. Drury chair; vice chair chosen by unanimous roll call

The King William County Economic Development Authority unanimously elected Mr. Drury as chair during a roll-call vote at its July 8, 2026 meeting, after a motion that was seconded and carried without opposition.
The formal roll call recorded all members voting in the affirmative. The assembly then moved to select a vice chair and proceeded to adopt the meeting agenda and approve the minutes of the Jan. 14, 2026 meeting. The clerk called the roll and recorded votes for each action.
The chair and vice chair elections were procedural and took place immediately after the meeting was called to order. Following the votes, the EDA moved into staff presentations, including the community and economic development director's 120-day plan and a tourism briefing presented by the Virginia Tourism Corporation.
