County administrator calls hospital opening a major win, offers county support to tourism council

During public comment at the Jan. 15 meeting, County Administrator Michael McGuinness thanked the Tourism Advisory Council for allowing him to attend and said he appreciates the council's work. McGuinness described the opening of the hospital as a "major win" to start the year and said he is looking forward to building a long-term vision for the county.
McGuinness said there is a strong administrative team available to help the council and encouraged members to reach out with questions. He also thanked the Chamber of Commerce for supporting his transition into the county role and said he feels 'blessed to be in Patrick County.'
