Council approves $2,681.64 striping work; well and hydrant work scheduled

During the April 20 meeting, Dana Horn and Todd Gross delivered the water, sewer and streets report. Dana presented a striping quote from Dakota Pro for $3,581.64; the council approved the striping work without the crosswalks for a total of $2,681.64 on a motion by Glen Batterman and seconded by Cody Fischer.
Staff also reported that Thien Well Service is scheduled to pull well No. 2 at the end of April and that Precision Grading will schedule hydrant replacements in the spring. Midwest Coating Company had not yet returned calls to confirm a date for chip-seal work. The report noted that American Garage Door replaced four springs on the city shop door and that city mowers have been serviced and are ready for the season.
