PSA votes to appoint members to joint EDA–PSA subcommittee to advance water projects

The Patrick County Public Service Authority voted Jan. 14 to appoint three members to a joint subcommittee that will work with the Economic Development Authority on plans to expand public water and sewer access. The motion, made by Scott Eutsler and seconded by Jeffery Houchins, carried unanimously, and the PSA said it will determine which three members will serve at its next regularly scheduled meeting.
EDA Chairman Ron Haley told the joint meeting the EDA will vote at its next regular meeting to decide which of its members will serve on the subcommittee. The subcommittee was proposed by James Houchins and would include three members from each board, the executive directors of both boards, and the Town Manager. No specific appointment names from the EDA were recorded at this meeting.
