Police Chief Corrinna Wagner presented the department report at the Jan. 5 meeting and said the department’s new radar unit is “installed and working great.” The council approved overtime reimbursement at 1.5 hours per week (retroactive to Nov.) and authorized 80% reimbursement of the radar purchase through a Highway Safety grant.
Chief Wagner also told the council she will travel to Freeman to collaborate with the Freeman police chief on computer documents. No additional staffing or equipment purchases were approved at the meeting.
