Board members noted Ty Rhodes' bid at $8,200 compared with Jim Bob's bid of roughly $5,500 to $6,000. The board recommended Ty Rhodes for announcing and sound at the 2026 Rodeo and JR Rodeo but agreed to wait for the Rodeo Committee to review bids and make a recommendation at its Monday meeting. Donna Palmer will distribute Ty Rhodes' video and audio clips to board members before that committee meeting.
