FAA Exhibit A request pauses land‑acquisition grant closeout, consultant warns of high cost

Trey Dail reported that the FAA has asked the airport to provide an Exhibit A — a comprehensive boundary survey and property inventory — as part of the land acquisition grant closeout for Parcel B north of Runway 17/35. Trey described Exhibit A work as "a significant and costly effort" because it requires deed and easement research, field verification of survey corners, and placement of missing monuments where needed.
Trey said he asked the FAA whether the airport could instead provide a simplified property map now and defer a full Exhibit A until a future master plan or airport layout update. At the time of the meeting, the FAA had not responded, and Trey said the requirement is holding up grant closeout.
