Houston County honors Carolyn Sullivan for 59 years as Superior Court Clerk

Sullivan spoke about beginning work for the county right out of high school and described the role: "the job is very diverse, and every day is different." She said her successor has worked in the Clerk's Office for more than 30 years and that she has confidence in that person's ability to lead the office going forward. Commissioners thanked Sullivan for her leadership in Houston County and across the state among other Superior Court Clerks.
The board's recognition was part of the regular meeting's closing remarks before adjournment.
