Houston County awards vehicle bids for detention center and juvenile division using 2018 SPLOST funds

Commissioner Byrd moved and Commissioner Talton seconded acceptance of a low bid of $42,665 from Phil Brannen Ford of Perry for a 2024 1/2-ton Ford crew cab truck for the Juvenile Division; that motion also carried unanimously.
The meeting record identifies 2018 SPLOST as the funding source for both purchases. The bids were approved by roll call of the five commissioners; both motions were recorded as carried unanimously.
