The Houston County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously Oct. 15 to approve audiovisual upgrades for Juvenile Court courtrooms A and B. Commissioner Robinson introduced the request and the board approved a $12,100 proposal from BIS Digital of Fort Lauderdale; the project will be funded by 2018 SPLOST and is scheduled for November.
Chairman Perdue noted that Judge Wilburn would welcome the improvements. The vote was recorded as unanimous; the approval moves forward an equipment upgrade intended to improve audio and video quality in juvenile proceedings and related court operations.
