She said the grant is state funded in this presentation and that typical awards are about $180,000 with a local match of around 20 percent.
"Typically, it's a $180,000 grant, and then we match the other side on a percentage a certain percentage for that, from local funds," Paragoy said, listing eligible purchases such as student devices, network infrastructure, cybersecurity improvements and instructional technologies. She told the board a resolution is in the packet and will come back for action in August, and she described how past reimbursements and purchases were managed.
Board members asked how funds might be prioritized; staff said Chromebooks and infrastructure remain typical high‑priority purchases and that a resolution will accompany the August action item.
