After debate and executive session, Russell County sets Midway Extension District rent at $500 per month

Officials from the Midway Extension District asked the commission to lower monthly rent for proposed office space to $250 or $300 and to extend the lease to three or five years. When open session resumed, Commissioner Alan Kuntzsch moved to set rent at $500 per month; Duke Strobel seconded and the motion passed 3–2 (yes: Jason Krug, Duke Strobel, Alan Kuntzsch; no: Steve Reinhardt, Dean Haselhorst).
