Roosevelt County commissioners handled several administrative items in December, approving facility maintenance invoices, personnel actions and equipment purchases across multiple meetings.
On Dec. 10 the board approved a courtroom painting invoice (Option 2) for $6,500 and a judge’s chambers painting invoice for $1,500. The board also accepted the resignation of Christina (Chris) Kilsdonk and voted to continue April Keen as the county’s insurance agent. During the Dec. 17 session commissioners approved a voting machine and associated equipment for the Clerk and Recorder, invoices for new radios and a desk setup for DES, and cameras for the Culbertson building. Pay raises for a number of employees (including Ernesto Hernandez, Kobe Clark, Nathaniel Clark, Kylie Porta and Melissa Buckles) were also approved by motion and recorded as passed.
