Commissioners approve multiple hires, one temporary appointment and a library pay raise

The Roosevelt County Commission approved several personnel actions in October 2024. On Oct. 1 the board approved hiring Robert Corbell as a deputy and Dana Oleyte as a janitor for the Culbertson library; both motions were moved by Commissioner Robert Toavs, seconded by Commissioner Gary Macdonald, and recorded as passed. On Oct. 8 the Commission approved hiring Kam Murnion as Bainville cook and granted a pay raise for Jessica Wolff at the Culbertson Library. In a special administrative session on Oct. 15 the Commission appointed Derek McNabb as Temporary Acting Road Foreman; Commissioner Toavs moved the appointment and Commissioner Macdonald seconded.
All personnel motions were recorded as passed in the minutes. The public record does not include job descriptions, salary details for the appointments (except payroll listings elsewhere in the minutes), probation terms, or start dates beyond the general approval recorded on the meeting dates.
