911 Director Alese Hageman introduced Amy Dollison as the new 911 Assistant Director during the March 16 meeting. Hageman told the commission the new radio software "works great," and said she and Dollison will work together on many duties.
The commission discussed concerns about fire department radios and a critical infrastructure grant opportunity to digitize school maps for dispatch and emergency services. Commissioner Alan Kuntzsch asked about burning guidelines; Amy Dollison said they are posted on the Russell County website.
The personnel introduction and discussion of mapping and radio upgrades were informational; no funding vote on radio replacement or the mapping grant occurred at the meeting.
