County Clerk and Election Officer Kristi Whitman reported there were 23 provisional ballots; the provisional ballots were tallied and the official results were read.
Whitman reported the official totals: 1,011 no votes, 542 yes votes, an undervote of 1, and 1,554 ballots cast for a 41.70% turnout. Duke Strobel moved to approve the canvass and certify the results; Alan Kuntzsch seconded, and the motion passed unanimously.
The commission closed the canvass after certification; no further action on the bond was taken by the county commission at this meeting.
