Commission approves leases for three sheriff vehicles, lists VINs and payments

Sheriff Pinther presented leases for three Chevrolet Tahoes and the Minidoka County Commission approved signing the leases at the Feb. 9 meeting. The approved annual payment for two of the vehicles is $12,212.82 and one vehicle's annual payment is $11,936.00; VINs recorded in the minutes are 1GNS6UED8TR220701, 1GNS6UED3TR220623 and 1GNS6UED2TR220631. Commissioner Koyle moved to approve and sign the leases and Commissioner Schaeffer seconded; the minutes state the motion carried.
The minutes note three previously leased vehicles will be returned to Bancorp. The decision was recorded without a roll-call vote in the minutes; the board did not elaborate on replacement timing or where the vehicles will be deployed.
