Lindenwold land-use board approves six applications; several abstentions recorded

The Lindenwold Joint Land Use Board at its June 25, 2026 meeting approved minutes from May 28, 2026 and a series of subdivision and site-plan applications, including JLUB-25-10 (ARCR Home Builders LLC) and multiple JLUB-26 matters.
The approvals recorded specific abstentions on several motions: Mayor Richard Roach and Ms. Joy Jackson abstained on the minutes approval and on several site-plan approvals; Mayor Roach, Council Woman Linda Hess and Ms. Jackson abstained on JLUB-26-2 (Deterding’s Market, Inc.); Mr. Vandergrift recorded an abstention on JLUB-26-5 (The Liv N Room). Other members voted in favor and the motions carried as announced by Chair Joseph Vandergrift. The meeting minutes show motions were made by board members (for example, Mr. Wells and Mr. Lenkowski) and seconded as recorded, with the clerk noting the roll-call results.
The approvals cover a range of items: a minor subdivision extension (JLUB-25-10), amended preliminary and final major site plan with use variance (JLUB-26-2), minor site plans with use variances (JLUB-26-4), change-of-use and bulk variance for The Liv N Room (JLUB-26-5) and a minor site plan with bulk variance for Laurel Hill Apartments (JLUB-26-7). These items were handled on the board’s agenda in succession and were announced as carried by the presiding officer.
