Minidoka County commissioners on Feb. 2 approved Resolution #2026-02-02 to raise several fingerprint-based criminal background check fees to comply with I.C. 63-1311 and I.C. 63-1311a. Commissioner Koyle moved to adopt the resolution and Commissioner Schaeffer seconded; the motion carried and the public hearing was closed at 11:07 AM.
The resolution raises the Idaho fingerprint-based background check fee from $25.00 to $27.00, increases the nationwide fingerprint-based criminal background check from $37.00 to $39.00, and increases the nationwide fingerprint check for volunteers from $35.00 to $37.00. Prosecutor Stevenson reviewed the proposed changes at the hearing; minutes record no public comments for or against the proposal.
