Board members asked about a projected $23,000 deficit; Wu said the commission is tracking close to that figure and any overrun would likely be within a 5% margin. Sexton Doug Sheehan noted $11,000 was not spent in May and that $4,100 was allocated for monument restoration but no work had yet been done. The board agreed to hold off on approving new projects while monitoring expenditures.
The board set its next regular meeting for Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at South Hill Cemetery. Warrant orders were signed, and the meeting adjourned at 5:41 p.m.
