Eugene Wenke of Mt. Sterling appeared before the board Oct. 14 to request three specific actions related to Site 15 of the Indian Creek Watershed, which adjoins his property in Section 11, T67N-R09W. Wenke asked for "a defined access into his property," that the board agree "to leave the fence between the properties where it is," and to "put the weir at 621.5 feet."
Supervisors tabled the matter while seeking additional technical input from Natural Resources Conservation Service staff and the county engineer. The minutes do not record any commitment to a timeline for that follow-up, nor do they include an engineer recommendation at this meeting.
