Harvey County planning board elects officers for 2026 term
Summary
At its April 7 meeting the Harvey County Planning & Zoning Advisory Board elected Justin Stucky as chair, Joni Embree-Meinders as vice chair, and nominated Karen Rothe for secretary; the board recorded the motions and seconds for each office.
The Harvey County Planning & Zoning Advisory Board and Board of Zoning Appeals held annual officer elections at their April 7 meeting. Committee member Joni Embree-Meinders moved to nominate Justin Stucky for chair with Daryl Regier seconding; the board approved the nomination. Justin Stucky then moved to nominate Joni Embree-Meinders for vice chair; Steven Drzymalla seconded and the motion carried.
Martie TenEyck moved to nominate Karen Rothe for secretary and Justin Stucky seconded; the motion passed. The meeting minutes record the nominations, seconds and final approvals for each office. The newly elected chair and vice chair will serve for the coming year under the board’s rules.
