Logan Schrag represented the applicants and said the business operates on a ‘made to order’ model: when a customer purchases a car online, the vehicle is obtained and delivered for customer pickup. Schrag told the board the maximum number of cars on site at any one time would be “one to two.” He also said an office with living quarters will be provided to support Schrag’s grandfather; Rothe advised that a bedroom used for full‑time residency later would require a doctor’s note and that a bedroom must have a window or second exit to meet building requirements.
Staff reviewed zoning criteria and recommended conditions; Martie TenEyck moved to approve the CUP with staff conditions and Mike Weber seconded. The motion passed unanimously. Schrag noted that the road directly east of the property is not currently maintained and suggested the applicants consult Darlington Township about signage and access.
