Applicant Albert Spencer Wise said instruction and sales would occur entirely inside the garage, and he described the space as large with electric kilns located in a corner of the garage. "We're both high school teachers," Wise said, explaining limited evening availability and the rationale for proposed hours. Commissioners asked about parking and class size; the applicant reduced earlier numbers and agreed to a six-student limit and a four-car on-site parking plan. Commissioner Lisa moved to approve based on the 08/06/2024 staff findings and conditions; the motion carried by voice vote.
Conditions limit class size, hours and require the parking plan included in the staff packet. Staff will monitor compliance through business-license renewals and any required building-permit reviews.
